OUR STORY
The NBRPA-Houston, also known as the Houston Legends of Basketball, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the Houston Branch of the NBRPA, which was founded in 1992 by NBA Legends Dave DeBusschere, Dave Bing, Archie Clark, Dave Cowens and Oscar Robertson. The Houston legends branch of the NBRPA is the only access point and support for all retired NBA, WNBA, ABA, and Harlem Globetrotters who reside in the Houston area. It is the only alumni association of its kind supported directly by the NBA and National Basketball Players.

WHAT WE DO
The Houston Legends of Basketball have a mission to assist our members as they transition from the playing court and into life after basketball. Although our members have retired from actively playing. As ambassadors of the sport of basketball we embrace our responsibility to encourage, motivate, and inspire through education, sports ministry, career transition, and overall health and wellness.
